It's all gotten a bit hectic.
The AUTOHYPE world has gone nuts over the last few weeks, we've played huge gigs (The Roadmender in Northampton being the most impressive) and smaller gigs, along with some just damn good gigs in London and around the country.
We've been recording new tracks, Wait!, Stories and Catch Me, will be completed and online very soon for your listening pleasure.
We've also moved house and had three members finish uni so we've been enduring a pretty stressful time through it all.
Then theres this Friday coming where we play the cavern club. Only one of the most famous venues ever and pretty much my childhood dream since I first listened to the Beatles, followed by Dublin Castle on Monday - which is possible the most famous cult venue in London. It all just seems crazy.
I'm really looking forward to it though!

I don't know why but I'm not going nuts.
We have recently confirmed a gig at the cavern club in Liverpool.
I should really be jumping up and down in delerium, but I'm just happy we're getting these things sorted out, it feels right somehow.
Johnny Foreigner gig was awesome, I was so gutted that less people showed up, they are an awesome band and deseverve to be playing to bigger crowds, but leicester has difficulty providing them unless you are currently have top 10 hits to your name. It's a shame really.
The new songs are coming on great, it's almost like a new direction, but actually more of a growth on the direction we already have, like we're pushing the bar of our sound a bit further. I'm looking forward to people reactions when we play them. Especially the one currently known as 'Stories'. I've got some really interesting guitar parts.
Gotta run, I'm supposed to be working (as usual).

Shattered
I'm shattered.
We played a storming gig last night at The Charlotte for the Leicester Uni band and gig society. I broke two strings, Shaun broke 1 and Ed managed to half dismantle the drum kit. It was great. We were all completely dead afterwards.
We've got some cracking gigs coming up in London, Birmingham, Nottingham and Leicester. Looks like it'll be a good few months!

So many gigs, so little time!
Gigs have gone crazy recently, we have so much stuff to do...its great! I can't wait to start gigging, first ones tomorrow at a club called Hush in Leicester. Things have gone so crazy since we've been back, i think its just now that we're all switched on and we all know what we want and what we have to do. Plus having a manager has given us so much confidence and direction, its just so good to have something that kind of legitimizes what your doing. just for someone to say 'yeh your music's great, i want to be part of it and help'. its so fresh

Merchandise!
Hey everyone, just to let you know that we're now selling packs of 2 Autohype badges (one black, one white) with a Autohype plectrum for the not so princely sum of £1.50. We'll be selling them at gigs in the near future, so just ask if you want one!

Cool Stuff
After I got hold of some u-myx software for Bloc Party's 'Flux', I've been trawling the net for some proper remixes. It seems there is a never ending supply of people out there how churn out these remixes at an incredible rate. If you like indie and electro then you might like some of these remixes - missingtoof.com is a great place to start for this kind of stuff. Another place to get this stuff is off the Kitsune - Maison compilations. I recommend MSTRKRFT and RAC mixes in particular. If you like Bloc Party your in for an even bigger treat! Apart from the Silent Alarm Remixed album, I've managed to get hold of 21 remixes. Some of them are pretty shit and not a patch on the original but others are definately worth listening to. I'm also listening to Justice and Digitalism at the moment - its all electronic at Autohype bass!
Anyway, hope everyone is well. Love music!
